International Piano Day 2022

It all started with Housebound Music, a call for music and a playlist for the first lockdown. The playlist and the hashtag gathered some attention and helped us put together a nice collection of music by local artists and bands in Kraków. The Piano Day Playlist call for music followed soon after (it was around March 2020 that Kraków Music came to life) proving  that music was the key out of lockdown.

This is the third year we launch the call and encourage local Polish and international artist to submit a song (with a piano feature) to build this year’s playlist. You can submit your music in the form below.

As always the playlist will be available to listen online for free, however, due to the current humanitarian crisis in Ukraine we will add a donation box so that people listening to the playlist can contribute and #SupportUkraine. Your contributions will be equally distributed between the Polish Humanitarian Action and the Fundacja Widowisk Masowych.

The 2022 playlist will be published on International Piano Day, March 29, 2022.
